Construction is underway in Sparta Town Square! This is an exciting step forward towards our new Town Square. once completed, this will be a great place for people to gather and connect! It will feature cozy outdoor seating, a fireplace, a permanent stage along the creek, and public restrooms. This new space will be hub for many Sparta events! Beautiful Nash Creek will be the perfect backdrop for live music, markets, and more in Sparta Town Square.

This investment is funded through several grants including: Revitalization and Placemaking Grant, Community Development Block Grant Funds, and Downtown Development Authority Funds. These public funds complement Sparta's recent history of private investment with monumental capital improvements that invest in the core downtown.

The prime location for this space, in the heart of downtown Sparta, offers more opportunities for locals and visitors alike to enjoy our small-town community. People will be able to walk to nearby shops, boutiques, and restaurants to experience and explore the best of Sparta.
