Lace up your skates, Sparta! Our quaint, synthetic, hometown ice skating rink will be debuted this winter! We are so grateful to the Village of Sparta and the Sparta Community Foundation for helping us launch this experience.

We trialed a similar synthetic rink in 2023 for Winterfest and it was a resounding success! The space was alive with Holiday Spirit.

Location

The 2026 rink will be located at 190 Olmstead Road - the Balyeat parking lot. The rink will take up a small portion of the east section of the lot.

Dates

The rink will open in time for Shop Sparta on November 20, and will be up through Winterfest in February 2027.

Skates

Skates are available during select open hours. Personal skates are allowed, but absolutely NO toe pick skates are allowed.
