June is winding down, but don't you worry, it is still packed with events for you and your family to enjoy! So if you find yourself looking for something to do, check out one of the events below!
Wednesday, June 22 - Jimmy and the Mortals are coming to Roger's park to give an awesome performance! Groove to their tunes from the 60's & 70's while enjoying some food from any of the food trucks parked there tonight: Airborne Burritos, Dune Buggy, Kool Breze, and Landwhale Deli.
Thursday, June 23 - Pickers and Makers Market Night is back again! Come down to Sparta Town Square to shop at local vendor booths. Shopping not your thing? How about music and good food? Because along with the market will be a live performance by 17 Degrees South! Dune Buggy, Landwhale Deli, and Papa Piccione's will be providing great food for you to try and enjoy!
Saturday, June 25 - We are excited to announce that this weekend, Dottie's Dog Bowl is hosting Doggie-Palooza in downtown Sparta! There will be over 20 dog-centric vendors, live music, and local food. This is more than just a celebration of our furry friends. The event is a fundraiser for Hearts of Hope, which works to rescue and foster dogs. There will be fundraisers for the foundation throughout the event such as a raffle and a silent auction. Along with this, there will be adoptable dogs there who are looking for homes. Make sure to stop by and help support our furry friends!
Wednesday, June 29 - If you're a country music kind of person, you need to stop by Concerts in the Park to hear Country Current perform! Their contemporary country performance is one you won't want to miss! Concerts wouldn't be complete without food, so four different food trucks will be there throughout the performance for your enjoyment: Airborne Burritos, Kool Breze, Landwhale Deli, and Papa Piccione's!
Thursday, June 30 - Time to break our your flower leis and floral shirts because it's a Hawaiian Luau in Sparta Town Square! Kool Breze, Landwhale Deli, and Papa Piccone's will be serving food. Thursdays on the Square wouldn't be complete without some music to go with it! Jason Eller will be performing that night for everyone to enjoy!
