Rotary in the Clean Up...

The Sparta Rotary Club was thrilled with the work completed in a three hour period on the banks of Nash Creek. With the hands of many, the work was still laborious, but very rewarding. These local business people and high school students from the Interact Club volunteered their time on a Monday afternoon to clean up the banks of Nash Creek picking up garbage, cleaning debris, weeding, and creating a beautiful view of the slow moving creek. Conversations led from the beauty of Nash Creek to other project that could be done to keep the community looking great. The Rotary Club meets every Monday at 12:10pm to discuss "Service Projects" around the community and around the world. This group of people definitely made a significant change for Nash Creek in downtown Sparta. Thank you, Rotary!
