Nash Creek is a beautiful and essential part of Sparta's environment. It runs right through the heart of our community, and as a community, it is our duty to take care of it. On April 29th at 9 am, volunteers are needed to help clear the banks of litter and invasive species. Along with this, hands are needed to help plant native species along the bank. Native species are critical to the health of Nash creek. These plants clean stormwater, provide habitats, and improve the mental health of Sparta citizens. Many people are needed to help out with this essential work. No experience is needed to help out! Everyone is invited to help make a meaningful difference in our community and keep Nash Creek beautiful!
