If you’ve taken a walk through downtown Sparta in the summertime, you know that summer in Sparta is beautiful! The flowers in our downtown area are simply gorgeous! So much so, in fact, that other communities ask us how we do it! These flowers don’t just bloom on their own. It is thanks to our wonderful community that Sparta can look as beautiful as it does! We have volunteers who give their time to make sure that Sparta is decorated for every time of the year. These volunteers are a huge part of Sparta’s Beautification Program. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to organize the wonderful decorations and landscaping that you see throughout downtown Sparta. Every year, generous members of our community donate to our beautification program. These donations are directly spent on decorations and flowers to make our downtown area stunning throughout the year! These funds are what make all of this possible, and what keeps Sparta looking incredible no matter the time of year. Thank you to everyone who has donated!

The cost of purchasing and maintaining a single light pole is about $130 per season, however, a donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated!
