Freedom Cruise 2025

The 2025 Freedom Cruise, Honor Ceremony and Patriot Football Game has been moved to Friday, September 12th at Sparta High School.

The recipient this year is Sparta Native, Rachel Ganczewski whose husband Stephen, an American hero, was on his 6th deployment to Iraq when he was tragically killed. Rachel Ganczewski is a former Special Ed teacher, volunteer on the Sparta Fire Department and local small business owner who has an indomitable spirit and represents the best of Sparta.

Organizer, Tom Antor says, “Comstock Park students, dignitaries and the general public completely filled their auditorium last year and as you can see, it’s an incredibly emotional event. Can Sparta top that? I think we can, but it’s going to take all of us!”

He urges people to fill the streets, village, auditorium, and the stands at the Patriot Football Game that night held at Spartan Stadium.

More details will be posted soon, but in the meantime, mark your calendars for September 12th, and join us in honoring local heroes
