Michigan Apple Fest - September 15 & 16
This festival is the perfect way to start out your fall! It features all kinds of apple-themed fun! Are you a baker? Enter in the Apple Pie Baking Contest! Do you love to eat pies? Try to eat a slice as fast as you can in the Apple Pie Eating Contest! Want to do something with the family? There are a variety of kids' crafts and games that you and your family can participate in! The Great Lakes Lumberjack Show features log sawing, chainsaw carving, axe throwing, and more, plus tons of family-friendly, clean humor! Try out Gelly Ball or play on the inflatables! Want to get away for a bit? Hop on the Harvest Hayride! The ride will take you to a few local establishments where you can participate in an adult "tasting" and hang out! (21+ Only) Want to see something unique? Check out the International Living Statues Festival! Live Statue Artists from around the world will be coming to Sparta to do a meet & greet and perform! McIntosh March 5k - September 23
Hosted by Advent Physical Therapy, this 5k will be taking place at the Sparta Sports Park! Go for a beautiful fall run amongst the changing leaves and the cool fall air. All participants will get apples and cider at the finish line!
