Experience International Living Statue performances in Sparta, Michigan! Living statues, also known as tableaux vivante, are a form of performance art in which an artist creates an elaborate display, often dressed in an intricate costume, body paint, or makeup to create a static, statuesque appearance.
Five artists will be performing during the Michigan Apple Festival! Ita Branco from Portugal, Yuval Cohen and Emilia Cohen from Israel, John Eicke from Germany, and Robert Shangle from the USA will be putting on a live display on Saturday, September 16th from 2-6 pm.
On Friday night you can meet the artists! The artists will have a meet and greet opportunity on September 15th from 7-8 pm. Cider and donuts will be provided!
These artists are champions of numerous competitions across the globe. You won't want to miss this opportunity to see them in person!
