The Sparta DDA, Chamber of Commerce, and Events Departments are excited to announce the opening of our new MARKET at 201 on Thursday July 9!
The goal of MARKET at 201 is to create an engaging space filled with vendors from Farmers’ Market vendors, local crafters and artisans, cottage industry food artisans, in our town square container park area. Outdoor seating will be added and we plan to continue this market through September!
The Market will be located in the heart of Downtown Sparta in the parking lot area along Nash Creek west of Creekside Clover and Marketplace 201 located at 201 E Division.The market will run Thursdays, beginning July 9 from 4-7:30 pm. Spaces are 15’ x 15’ and a $20 per market date vendor fee. You are responsible for providing your own tent, tables, chairs, etc. Spaces are currently limited to a maximum of 15. Reservations of space in advance are required and will be confirmed upon receipt of payment. Vendors will be invoiced online once request of reservation has been made. An email is required with all relevant contact information included for invoicing unless prior arrangements are made in advance with the Sparta Events Department.

This event is conditional on the State of Michigan remaining in Phase 4 of MI Safe Start Plan- allowing for limited gatherings. We are hopeful that we will be able to increase the vendor size when we are able to move into Phase 5. As per the continued requirements of the State of Michigan, all outdoor social distancing recommendations apply.
