The Baker Take-Over! & Ice Cream Social!

When some of your best volunteers (and when I mean best, what I really mean is litter picking up, garbage can emptying, running an extension cord for the band, and helping move the tables type of volunteer) offers to run the Cocktail-To-Go booth on a Thursday night -- We say, "OH YEAH!" Rex & Denise Baker will be hosting the Cocktails-To-Go booth on Thursday from 6:30 pm - 8 pm in the Sparta Town Square while welcoming a new-to-Thursday-night band Uniquely Rogue! Stop down to say hi, and a big thanks to these two for all they do for our community as volunteers! Live music, margaritas, shopping, produce vendors, and the PERFECT beginning of September weather to enjoy a night out in downtown Sparta!

Oh, and did we mention that we are SO excited to bring in an Ice Cream Social courtesy of the Sparta American Legion? Stop into their spot in the Sparta Town Square to say "Hi" from 6:30 to 7:30 ((or while supplies last!!) and grab an ice cream treat, thanks to the generosity of the Sparta American Legion Post 107!

The Sparta American Legion has been in existence since 1919, and perform regular important events such as flag retirement ceremonies and host the Memorial Day Ceremony in addition to sponsoring events in our community.
