Last year, Sparta tried something new. We invited the youth in our community to take part in a Youth Pop Up Market. It was amazing! Kids sold everything from baked goods to produce to homemade artwork! It was so successful that we're bringing it back this year!
The first Youth Entrepreneurial Market is this Thursday, June 15 from 6-8 pm in Sparta Town Square with more than twenty kids signed up! There's a wide variety of products being sold. Fruit, clay bead creations, dog accessories, fire starters, and more! Whether you're looking for something specific or just browsing, there is sure to be something perfect for you there!
Can't make it this Thursday? Don't worry, there are two more dates that you can go to the market: July 20 and August 10! Each market will feature different products, so make sure to check them all out and support all of our young entrepreneurs!
The youth participating in this market are doing more than just selling goods. They have the opportunity to learn business practices such as creating a product, interacting with customers, making change, and more!
