Sparta Bucks: a local currency that promotes shopping and spending local!
For the many folks who use Sparta Bucks on a regular basis, you can skip down to the good part: a Buy One, Get One (BOGO) free promotion is coming out VERY soon! For those of you who are not familiar with the Sparta Bucks Concept, it is a local gift certificate that is able to be used (just like a gift card) at over 25 local mom and pop shops in Sparta! They are a fantastic way to keep the money LOCAL and support small businesses in Sparta!
Did you know any Sparta Business can choose to accept Sparta Bucks? If you know of a business that isn't currently listed, but should consider it, have them contact us today to get signed up to accept!
Thanks to a generous grant award from Sparta Township ARPA funds (these are COVID relief dollars handed to the local government to spend, not local tax dollars), the Sparta Chamber is able to pass on a BOGO promotion to those who choose to GO LOCAL with your expenditures! That means, that for every $1 you purchase through the Sparta Bucks site, you will be given $2 to spend! And it's that simple – BUT the funds will run out fast – we’ve run these types of promotions before, and have sold out in mere minutes! There will be a limit of $50 per email address, to help us spread out the $25,000 grant to tons of local shoppers! Also please note, there is a 3% transaction fee for credit card use, this fee helps make the program affordable for our local businesses, and keep our local businesses IN business!

Sparta Bucks will go on BOGO Sale once again thanks to the grant from Sparta Township! How will you know when it drops? Be on the lookout in the next week or so, WE WILL SEND OUT AN EMAIL TO YOU LETTING YOU KNOW WHEN THE WINDOW FOR BOGO OPENS, AND THE SITE WILL HAVE THE BOGO PROMO LIVE!
When you are ready to purchase, you’ll go to www.spartachamber.com/sparta-bucks and put in your purchase from there. Your purchase will be DOUBLED (with a limit of up to $50 per email address)! *while supplies last. If you have trouble getting the purchase to go through, we recommend refreshing your browser, it may mean the double funds have expired.
