The Sparta Chamber of Commerce is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated intern to assist with the marketing, communications, and Event Planning for the Sparta area.
The Sparta TODAY (The department charged with creating vibrant events!) is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated intern to assist with the events and promotions in Sparta this summer!
Internship responsibilities include blogging, social media marketing, creation of collateral materials, assisting customers at various events and festivals, capturing footage and photos, creating videos on YouTube Channel, Facebook Live videos, - and much more!
Past experience in these areas is a plus but we provide a lot of one on one instruction throughout the internship so you walk away with real-world hands-on skills to bring to the next step of your career. This internship runs from mid-May - August. Start and end dates are negotiable.
Required Event Dates include June 16 & 17 and July 21 & 22. Office hour weekday hours are negotiable, averaging 10-20 hours per week depending on availability. This position will be given a monthly stipend.

Qualifications - Must have good communication and writing skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, be able to understand written and verbal directions, have strong skills in multitasking, and must be able to do so with a positive attitude!
