For those who have been patiently waiting for our weekly fun event nights, this news in just for you! Warmer weather is bringing back a community favorite, Thursdays on the Square! This year, with a slight twist. Being introduced to Sparta this year are our Food Truck Frenzy Nights! A night full of delicious food from some of Sparta's favorite food trucks! The first Food Truck Frenzy Thursdays on the Square night is May 12.
May 12 is no ordinary Food Truck Frenzy, we will also be welcoming an instructor from Wine & Canvas Studio for our very own Sweets and Canvas Night! They will teach you how to step-by-step paint a beautiful 11x17 painting that you can hang up in your home, gift to someone else, or just keep as a fond memory! The scene, which features trees overlooking Lake Michigan, is perfect for beginners and advanced artists alike and is sure to turn out as a beautiful art piece you can be proud of! Sweets 4 Days will also be providing cookies for all the painters.
You must pre-register for the Sweets & Canvas event, which will run from 6-8pm in Sparta Town Square. The cost is $21. Register HERE.
Even if you aren't interested in painting, the food trucks are sure to please! Big Mike's Kettle Corn, Dune Buggy, Kool Breze, Landwhale Deli, and Waffle Stix will be there from 5-9pm.
