The West Michigan Arts Council will host its annual Warm-Up event featuring live holiday music by Uniquely Rogue on November 17 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Sparta Civic Center as part of the Shop Sparta event sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. This annual event featuring sidewalk sales, a lighted parade and ending with fireworks is always a big hit with families in the area.
Doors open at 6:00 pm with live music by Uniquely Rogue on the stage, free cookies and hot chocolate for kids and a cash bar for adults with soft drinks, wine, beer, and assorted liquors with mixers. There’s a doll display, tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the music, and warm restrooms.
New 2024 calendars featuring local West Michigan artists will also be for sale at this event. These are full-size, 17”x11” with large images of paintings and photographs on top along with a different smaller image and dates on the bottom page. Calendars are printed in gorgeous full color with a hole drilled in the top for hanging on the wall. Support the arts and local artists and gift yourself with one for next year …Only $10 each! Purchases benefit the arts council.
